The survey was conducted by the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion to find out who we are, how far we\u2019ve come and where we\u2019re going. The survey was made possible in part by the support of the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) and the Lehigh Valley Partnership.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Since LehighValleyNews.com launched in October 2022, our commitment has been to foster an informed, engaged and inspired community,\u201d said Jim Deegan, Executive Editor, LehighValleyNews.com. \u201cWe&#8217;re excited to advance that initiative with the Lehigh Valley Quality of Life survey and our accompanying series, Life in the Lehigh Valley, a set of stories based off the survey findings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Key findings examine\u00a0affordable housing, changing demographics, education, environmental issues, local government and more. The survey of more than 625 Lehigh Valley residents\u00a0was conducted by Dr. Christopher Borick, Professor of Political Science and Director of the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion. A nationally recognized public opinion researcher, Dr. Borick has conducted over 350 large-scale public opinion surveys over the past two decades.
