FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (February 18, 2023, Lehigh Valley, Pa) \u2013 At a launch event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley (BBBSLV) new mentoring program, \u201cSports Buddies\u201d, players from our local professional basketball team, Lehigh Valley Legends, were among the first athletes to step up to the plate and register to become volunteer \u201cBigs\u201d.<\/p>\n

BBBSLV Associate Program Director, Kisten Wisdo wrote, \u201cWe appreciate your time and support in helping to defend the potential of Lehigh Valley youth.\u00a0 We are excited to make a positive impact in the community with our new mentoring program \u2013 Sports Buddies!\u201d<\/p>\n

Lehigh Valley Legends Chief Operating Officer, James Stewart, continues, “One of the biggest aspirations of our organization is to help the youth within our community.\u00a0 Our partnership with BBBSLV and their ‘Sports Buddies’ program will provide an invaluable service for our youth.”<\/p>\n
