A Three-Day Festival filled with plenty of festive family fun to Upper Macungie Township\u2019s Grange Park\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Bethlehem, Pa., Feb. 28, 2023 \u2014 ArtsQuest, in partnership with Upper Macungie Township, Service Electric and Uline, announce the area\u2019s first ever Upper Mac Days, a three-day family-friendly celebration,<\/ins><\/u>\u00a0to be held Friday, June 23 through Sunday, June 25 at Upper Macungie Township\u2019s Grange Park (360 Grange Road).<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re excited to welcome the Upper Macungie community to this inaugural event,\u201d commented Curt Mosel, COO of ArtsQuest. \u201cThrough ArtsQuest programming, we\u2019ve designed this three-day family-friendly festival with an emphasis on the residents that live here \u2013 from the contests and tournaments to musical performances and entertainment, and all the food and fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

This community geared festival will have something for all ages. A sure-to-be crowd favorite includes Firefighter Games, a three-game friendly competition presented by the Upper Macungie Fire Departments (Fogelsville, Trexlertown, Breinigsville and Kuhnsville). Firefighters will be dressed in full gear to compete in a Bucket Brigade, Portable Pump\u00a0<\/a>Race\u00a0and a Barrel Competition.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can\u2019t wait to interact with the local community at Upper Mac Days and enjoy some friendly competition between fellow firefighters,\u201d said Peter Christ, Upper Macungie Township Fire Commissioner. \u201cResponding to fires and other emergencies is our mission but being able to get to know our residents and their families in a fun and festive setting is something we look forward to.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cService Electric is thrilled to partner with ArtsQuest for this exciting new event in Upper Macungie Township,\u201d said John Walson, President Service Electric Cable TV. \u201cWe have a great customer base here and look forward to promoting and sharing highlights with the local community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Musical performances will include The BriTles, Flirtin’ with the Mob, The Wonton Soups, The Stray Seeds, James Supra & Sarah Ayers Band, The Lesson Center, Hunkajunk, Joyous, School of Rock, DJ Jamal\u00a0<\/a>Knight\u00a0and others to be announced.<\/p>\n

Additional activities and attractions include two Dog Beauty pageants, a Shoofly Pie Eating contest, Apple Bobbing, a Cyr Wheel performance, Macungie: The Game Show, Cornhole and Kong Pong tournaments (presented in partnership with Sport and Social in Allentown), the Firefighter Games, The Flame Noveau Fire Dance\u00a0<\/a>Cabaret\u00a0and a series of interactive exhibits geared toward kids (to be announced).<\/p>\n

There will also be bounce houses, bungee trampolines, activities from Valley Preferred Cycling Center and the United Bowhunters of PA, with more to be announced shortly.<\/p>\n
