Celebrate 30 years of blooms at new Sgt. Hoffman BLVD. location<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

LEHIGHTON, Pa \u2013 Come tiptoe to the tulips while stopping to smell the roses on Thursday, May 4, 2023, as the Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corp. celebrates Route 443 Flower Tent\u2019s new permanent location on Sgt. Hoffman Blvd!<\/p>\n

After three decades located next to the Beacon Dinner, the most popular place to find all the colors in bloom, has moved to Sgt. Stanley Hoffman Blvd. across the street from Insurrection Distillery.<\/p>\n

The move comes due to the long-term construction on Route 443 started last year causing traffic, space and parking issues. Though it may be a new location, owner Barbra Zehner promises the Flower Tent will still be filled with the same great quality and colorful flowers, herbs, gifts and friendly staff. The colorful and often unusual plant varieties, delivered to the tent from local and regional greenhouses, are sold in quantities not often found in box stores.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t just sell flowers, we sell happiness,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Zehner credits the 30-year longevity of the Flower Tent\u2019s success to the care and attention she and her staff lavish on their flora. \u201cThe one thing that always keeps people coming back is the plants are full of color and are healthy. If something isn\u2019t looking good, I take it off the shelves.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Flower Tent starts its Spring season sales on March 30th<\/sup>\u00a0through Easter Sunday April 9th<\/sup>. The tent will then close and reopen from April 28th<\/sup>\u00a0until late June.<\/p>\n

Zehner\u2019s satellite tent will return to Mattress Firm for the early spring and Mother\u2019s Day events, Wednesday April 5th<\/sup>\u00a0through Sunday April 9th<\/sup>, and Tuesday May 9th<\/sup>\u00a0to the 14th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

The big scissors will be used to cut the ribbon on The Flower Tent\u2019s new location Thursday May 4, 4 \u2013 6 p.m. This free event will include giveaways, flower sale specials and lite fare.<\/p>\n
