{"id":117109,"date":"2023-03-28T00:10:41","date_gmt":"2023-03-28T04:10:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=117109"},"modified":"2023-03-28T00:10:41","modified_gmt":"2023-03-28T04:10:41","slug":"wildlands-conservancy-summer-camp-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=117109","title":{"rendered":"Wildlands Conservancy Summer Camp 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Join us at Wildlands Conservancy for a fascinating summer of adventure, where tomorrow\u2019s Environmental Stewards take root!\u00a0\u00a0 This summer we are offering 11 weeks of enriching, nature-based fun at our Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary in Emmaus, as well as in additional parks that may be closer to you: Community Park (near Bethlehem), Hopewell Park (in Center Valley), Lone Lane Park (in Allentown) and Ontelaunee Park (in New Tripoli).\u00a0\u00a0 Our camps, beginning June 12, are offered at several levels, including: You &amp; Me for 3-5 year-olds and their grown-ups, PreK, and for students who have completed K-2<sup>nd<\/sup> grades, 3-5th grades, and 6<sup>th<\/sup> grade plus.<\/p>\n<p>Choose from a number of different camp themes, including developing outdoor wildlife tracking and survival skills, enjoying water activities while learning about our watershed, lessons in ornithology (meeting and working with a practicing ornithologist!), becoming a planet protector (with practicing conservationists), and generally discovering the thrill of science, technology and engineering surrounded by the beauty of the natural world.
