Easter Egg Drop at Horizon Church in Allentown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Story &amp; Photos By: Joe Scrizzi<\/p>\n<p>Today at noon I had the pleasure of attending the Easter Egg Hunt at Horizon Church in West Allentown with my niece.<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Families from all around were there to join in on the Fun!<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Allentown Fire Dept. had a one of there trucks on site to drop eggs to kids and give tours of the inside workings as well prior to the drop.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The children were separated by grade with 10 second countdown. Plastic eggs packed with Goodies &amp; Treasures were strewn all over\u00a0the the front lawn and sides of the church.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">While there I bumped into Capt. John Christopher of the Allentown Fire Department, he mentioned that they have been doing this for 11 years. The crew truly enjoys giving back to the community!<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Members of Horizon Church served up grilled hot dogs, popcorn, lots of baked goods and water.
