were made through\u00a0<strong>The Neffs National Bank<\/strong>\u2019s participation in the state\u2019s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. This program authorizes tax credits for contributions to Educational Improvement Organizations and allows the bank to earmark their taxes to support these programs.<\/p>\n<p>Since the bank began their participation in the EITC program, they have contributed over $1,000,000 to various educational foundations. Kevin Schmidt, President\/CEO The Neffs National Bank noted \u201cthese organizations are continuing to face uncertain times with increased budget constraints and the need to reengineer their education programs. I would encourage local businesses to support these organizations either directly or through participation in the EITC program.
