Bethlehem native Daniel Roebuck\u2019s newest film premieres this weekend\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Bethlehem, PA (April 19, 2023) – Historic Hotel Bethlehem is giving film fans a chance to immerse themselves in a movie location and dine with directors. Director\u00a0Daniel Roebuck<\/a>, a Bethlehem native, and his daughter, co-director and co-writer\u00a0Grace Roebuck<\/a>, shot part of their new film,\u00a0Lucky Louie<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>at the historic hotel. \u201cThe hotel is like a character in the movie,\u201d said Kelly Ronalds, Director of Room Sales and Guest Experience for the property. \u201cThis is the first time in the hotel\u2019s 100 years that a movie has been filmed here. We had so much fun watching Danny, Grace and their team work in the lobby and in 1741 on The Terrace.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lucky Louie\u00a0<\/em>to premiere
\n<\/strong>Roebuck who is well known in the Lehigh Valley for his prolific acting career and his directing work on films like\u00a0Getting Grace\u00a0<\/em>has a nonprofit film company called\u00a0Channel of Peace\u00a0<\/a>which produces and promotes family and faith-based films. \u201cMy work focuses on advancing family, faith in God, and the values of love, forgiveness, good works and gratitude,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

His latest film,\u00a0Lucky Louie<\/em>, which will debut this weekend, features a retired cop who teams up with four ex-convicts and a behavioral science student to solve a fifty-year-old bank robbery. The faith-based\u00a0 mystery takes viewers on a wild ride as the group works to solve the crime of the century.<\/p>\n

Lucky Louie\u00a0<\/em>will have a dual weekend premiere. The first is at the Roxy Theatre in Northampton County on April 22. The second is at the Banko Alehouse at SteelStacks on April 29.<\/p>\n

Dine with the Directors package details
\n<\/strong>On April 29,\u00a0<\/strong>Historic Hotel Bethlehem will host Dine with the Directors as part of a special\u00a0Lucky Louie<\/em>\u00a0premiere package.
