For those interested in discovering the ways diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices can transform their personal and professional growth, NCC is hosting a\u00a0virtual workshop on \u201cMaking the Case for DEI Practices\u201d on May 18 from 9 a.m. \u2013 11 a.m<\/strong>. Held on Zoom, this workshop will provide contextual understanding of DEI practices, their importance in today’s world, and how they can help challenge your mindset and mode of operation. If you\u2019re seeking a career in a high-paying, in-demand field,\u00a0NCC\u2019s FREE 8-week Pathways to Manufacturing Program\u00a0<\/strong>explores the many career paths available in modern manufacturing and teaches the skills necessary for entry-level positions in the field such as Lean Manufacturing, Blueprint Reading, Production, Automation, and more! Students will also earn the OSHA-10 certification as part of the program. NCC will hold info sessions to go over important information on\u00a0May 24 and June 5 at 1 p.m., and June 22 at 10 a.m., in the Fowler Family Southside Center<\/strong>, 511 E. Third St., Bethlehem. For those looking to pursue a career in healthcare,\u00a0NCC\u2019s Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training program<\/strong>\u00a0prepares participants with the skills needed to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) Competency Examination in as little as four weeks. As a CNA, you can work in a long-term care facility, hospital or other healthcare setting \u2013 an excellent way to start your career in healthcare with the potential of earnings of $15 or more per hour. Join NCC for a free,\u00a0virtual information session on Wednesday, June 7, at 5 p.m<\/strong>., to learn more about the CNA program and its requirements. Attendance is strongly encouraged for those considering enrolling in the CNA program, which begins August 15.
