Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (June 23, 2023) – Each month this summer, the associates from all departments at Historic Hotel Bethlehem will compete to create the best dessert using Penn State Creamery flavors from the hotel\u2019s ice cream parlor. Guests will be able to enjoy the winning dessert of each month and they will feel just peachy in June when they sample this month\u2019s winner. Banquet Captain Reilyn Colvin created June\u2019s featured dessert, \u201cIt\u2019s Two Peachy,\u201d made from Peach Ribbon Cake, NY-style crumb topping, and Penn State\u2019s Peach Ice Cream.<\/p>\n
Director of Room Sales and Guest Experiences Kelly Ronalds says, \u201cHistoric Hotel Bethlehem’s associates possess incredible culinary creativity and unique tastes, so we decided to create a monthly featured dessert to showcase associate recipes. Everyone loves the competition and the fun energy it creates in the hotel.\u201d\u00a0 The winner of each round has their photo and dessert featured on the dessert menu.
