Unity was the only New Jersey headquartered bank recognized for the honor from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.raymondjames.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.raymondjames.com\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1688754213275000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2yNdy8ixihyoS7VVJhU22M\">Raymond James<\/a>, an independent investment bank and research firm.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWe are honored to be selected for the Raymond James Community Bankers Cup,\u201d said Unity Bank President &amp; CEO James A. The top 10% demonstrated superior performance for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Nonperforming assets to loans and real estate owned<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Five-year average core deposit percentage<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Net interest margin (NIM)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Efficiency ratio<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Return on average assets (ROAA)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Return on average tangible common equity (ROTCE)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The pool of banks considered for recognition included all exchange-traded domestic banks, excluding mutual holding companies and potential acquisition targets, with assets between $500 million and $10 billion as of December 31, 2022.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Unity Bank holds about $2.5 billion in assets and $1.8 billion in deposits.
