EASTON, Pa.\u00a0<\/strong>(July 17, 2023) \u2013 Greater Easton Development Partnership (GEDP) and Crayola Experience are collaborating to bring the energy and excitement of the world\u2019s greatest soccer tournament to downtown Easton.<\/p>\n

To celebrate and support the U.S. Women\u2019s National Team in their bid for an historic three-peat, the partners are throwing an outdoor FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup 2023\u2122 watch party at 9 p.m. on July 21 with colorful pre-game activities starting at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s nothing quite like the excitement of watching your country compete in the world\u2019s greatest soccer tournament and being outside and cheering with the broader community creates even more energy for an international sporting event like this,\u201d said Jared Mast, executive director of GEDP. \u201cAdd in one of our nation\u2019s most beloved brands, Crayola, and we\u2019re guaranteed to have a top-notch event in Easton.\u201d<\/p>\n

The free, family-friendly event will be held rain or shine in the square. From 6-9 p.m. families can enjoy music; food from local vendors; games; and soccer-themed crafts, activities, and photo ops. The Easton event is part of a national initiative, the\u00a0Art of Soccer<\/em>, launched through a collaboration between Crayola, FOX Sports, and U.S. Soccer to celebrate soccer\u2014a game of self-expression and creative possibilities.<\/p>\n

Leading up to the U.S. women\u2019s team opening pitch and throughout the world tournament, kids can unleash their imaginations and let their colorful ideas shine to cheer on the home team with the\u00a0Art of Soccer<\/em>\u00a0activities and events at\u00a0Crayola.com\/Soccer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Additionally, last year four passionate artists were commissioned to design custom soccer balls inspired by the key values of U.S. Soccer\u2014integrity, commitment, teamwork, and respect. The \u201cTeamwork\u201d ball was\u00a0selected to\u00a0be reproduced and is being sold exclusively\u00a0on Amazon with a portion of the proceeds going to U.S. Soccer\u2019s efforts to grow the game at all levels.<\/p>\n
