Diaz escaped a certain fate as a soldier in Castro&#8217;s army by emigrating to America-via Spain-when he was just thirteen. Several years later, he graduated with an advanced degree in engineering from Rutgers University.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Nelson is the founder\/owner of Mi Casa Properties in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He and his team focus on acquiring, rehabilitating, and managing single, multi-family, and commercial properties in urban areas of Lehigh County. Nelson led Mi Casa while serving as a Project Manager in the Nuclear Department for PPL Electric Utilities, until his retirement from PPL a few years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Nelson has three sons and two grandsons, and he lives in Allentown. He enjoys sailing and traveling with his family.
