Phillipsburg\u2019s Lit Girl Candle Company is teaming up with Pink Girls Run the World (PGRW) to give Lehigh Valley locals a glimpse of the \u201cBarbiecore\u201d trend on Saturday, August 5th.\u00a0 The immersive candle making workshop at Phillipsburg\u2019s real-life Barbie world will feature\u00a0all things pink as guests enjoy an evening of Barbie-themed nostalgia with lots of photo-worthy moments, pink treats, and Barbie trivia.<\/p>\n

\u201cGuests will learn the art of blending wax and fragrance oil to create custom candles during the ultimate pink themed experience,\u201d shares Lit Girl Company Founder, Kiarra Nash. \u201cAs a local woman owned business, I am passionate about offering diverse and inclusive experiences that foster authentic connections within the community.\u201d<\/p>\n

But the Barbiecore trend isn’t just about wearing pink. It means channeling a confident attitude and exuding happiness into the world.\u00a0 Nash\u2019s confident outlook led her to follow her passion after learning how to start a business from You Tube University.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor over 6 decades, Barbie has inspired, encouraged and empowered generations of young girls who have grown up to be women empowering other women,\u201d says PGRW Founder, Tashieka Brewer.\u00a0 \u201cThis is what made me love Barbie years ago.\u201d\u00a0 Brewer started The PGRW digital platform and bespoke experience company 6 years ago as part of a movement to encourage women to choose experiences over things.<\/p>\n
