BETHLEHEM, PA \u2013 August 2, 2023 \u2013 Each year for one week in August, nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Centers across the county celebrate National Health Center Week as a way to highlight the work they do in providing primary healthcare to their communities, while honoring the team members who care for them.<\/p>\n
This year it takes place from August 7-12, with each day of the week having a different theme. Neighborhood Health Centers of the Lehigh Valley, the region\u2019s first FQHC, has several community events planned. See below for details. Each event is free and open to the general public to attend and participate in. Full event information can be found on the NHCLV web site: https:\/\/bit.ly\/NHCWatNHCLV<\/a><\/p>\n NHCLV operates four community health centers offering primary medical care at sites in downtown Allentown, Northside and Southside Bethlehem, and West Ward Easton (see below for addresses). All of its health centers are open to the general public. It treats patients with or without health insurance.<\/p>\n Healthcare for Unhoused People<\/u>: Tuesday, August 8 from 11 am \u20133 pm<\/p>\n Patient Appreciation Day<\/u> – Wednesday, August 9 from 8\u00a0am – 4 pm at all four NHCLV health center locations.\u00a0Enjoy free snacks & drinks, raffles with prizes, and giveaways from NHCLV partners. Plus a free magic act for kids by The Magic of Sasso.<\/p>\n Children’s Health Day<\/u> – Saturday, August 12 from 9 am – 1 pm at the NHCLV downtown Allentown (160 Hamilton Street) and Northside Bethlehem (635 E.
