Assist with literacy activities in a kindergarten or first grade classroom in the Allentown School District one hour per week or more during the school year. <\/strong>Clearances and orientation hosted by Allentown School District Foundation required. Adults only. Our first orientation is scheduled for Friday, September 8 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Hays Elementary School, Allentown. Pre-registration by September 1 is required. The Great Allentown Fair is coming up and Civic Theatre of Allentown would like to utilize community members to help us fundraise <\/strong>by directing people where to park their cars. Drivers are needed to transport families from congregations to a day center at 6 a.m. each day and then back to their congregations at 6:00 p.m. <\/strong>for Family Promise of Lehigh Valley clients. The vehicle is a 14-passenger van, and no special license is required. Congregations are all within 30 minutes of the Day Center located at 1346 W. Hamilton Street, Allentown.
