Some people say the construction makes it look like the area is closed, but Broad Street and its businesses are very much open,\u201d said Tammy Wendling the Senior Vice President of Bethlehem Initiatives for The Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Everyone is invited to the building the Boyd Block Party\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This Sunday, the public is invited to bring their blankets and chairs to enjoy a groovy time on the lawn at 1 West Broad Street. Guests will enjoy live tunes from Life After Dead, a Grateful Dead Tribute band, and\u00a0 specials from nearby businesses like Luxurious Seduction Spa, La Casa del Sangwich, and Joe\u2019s Tavern.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Meet the Boyd\u2019s developers<\/strong><br \/>\nRepresentatives from Monacacy Builders will be at the event to talk about the Boyd building project. \u201cIt\u2019s such an exciting opportunity for the public to meet the people bringing the Boyd back to life,\u201d said Wendling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Event sponsors<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Bethlehem Parking Authority, Monocacy Builders, LLC., and DLP Realty are sponsoring the Boyd Block Party. Wendling added, \u201cOur sponsors at the Bethlehem Parking Authority will also be providing parking vouchers for those who park in the Walnut Street garage.
