Bethlehem, PA (9\/12\/23) –<\/strong>\u00a0Valley Youth House is pleased to announce that the Paul & Kym Farr Family has provided a generous gift of $1 million to support the agency\u2019s Endowment.<\/p>\n

Valley Youth House is celebrating 50 years of helping young people achieve the future they desire by forging genuine relationships that support families, ensure safe places, and build community connections. \u201cDelivering our life-changing programs and services is only possible through community partnerships and philanthropic support,” said Tom Harrington, President & Executive Director, “This transformational gift will aid the Agency in developing long-term sustainable funding to ensure equity, impact, and longevity as we continue to open doors for the most vulnerable youth in our community.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cValley Youth House provides a caring, safe environment for kids from very diverse backgrounds at critical times in their lives. We\u2019re honored to be involved with the delivery of such critical services to kids in need,\u201d said the Farr Family. \u201cEvery child deserves the right to feel safe, secure and celebrated. VYH occupies a very special place in our family\u2019s hearts as one of our children benefited directly from the mission and we understand first hand the benefits of these investments,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n

At Valley Youth House, our vision is a world in which every young person belongs to a nurturing community. Valley Youth House is the only agency in the region dedicated exclusively to the needs of youth experiencing homelessness with a continuum of services–from preventative in-home and school-based therapy to street outreach, emergency shelter and supportive housing.\u00a0An increased endowment will help Valley Youth House to continue to provide quality cutting-edge, research-based programs that provide youth with the dignity every young person deserves.<\/p>\n
