(Sept. 20, 2023)<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Good Shepherd Rehabilitation recently welcomed Jeffery W. Williams, MD, and Benjamin R. He is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and his areas of focus are electromyography (EMG), stroke, musculoskeletal medicine and physiatry.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining Good Shepherd, Dr. Williams served as section chief of physical medicine and rehabilitation at UPMC\/Susquehanna Health in Williamsport, Pa. Dr. Williams earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of medicine, Dr. Williams\u2019 hobbies include weightlifting, running, traveling, spending time with family and freshwater aquarium fish. Dr. Williams is fluent in English and Spanish.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Williams\u2019 personal interests ultimately led him to specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation, also known as physiatry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy focus in life has always been on wellness and healing, particularly through exercise \u2014 similar to rehabilitation,\u201d Dr. Williams said.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/01-benjamin-scoblionko-headshot-8397_034-300x200.jpg\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-122758\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/01-benjamin-scoblionko-headshot-8397_034-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/01-benjamin-scoblionko-headshot-8397_034.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodshepherdrehab.org\/doctor\/benjamin-r-scoblionko-md\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.goodshepherdrehab.org\/doctor\/benjamin-r-scoblionko-md\/&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1695336739073000&#038;usg=AOvVaw3g9SEUTLaiIGvbgmVLVm7l\">Dr. Scoblionko<\/a>&nbsp;is an outpatient physiatrist based out of Good Shepherd\u2019s Hyland Center for Health &amp; Technology, 850 S. 5<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;St., Allentown, PA 18103. Dr. Scoblionko is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and he specializes in spasticity and dystonia management, including medication management, bracing, intrathecal pump management, chemodenervation and chemo neurolysis.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Scoblionko earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
