Bethlehem, PA (October 12, 2023) – Historic Hotel Bethlehem announced today it will host a wedding and vow renewal experience in which many couples celebrate their reception at the same time. \u201cYou might call it the biggest small reception you\u2019ve ever seen,\u201d said Kelly Ronalds, the hotel\u2019s Director of Room Sales and Guest Experience. During the Cherished Beginnings Elegant Elopements & Vow Renewals event, couples will enjoy private wedding ceremonies followed by a cocktail hour and reception with other couples. \u201cEloping couples, couples with small guest lists, and those doing intimate vow renewals, don\u2019t typically have the opportunity to celebrate in grand spaces like this. The Cherished Beginnings event will give those couples the opportunity to get married in this elegant hotel with gorgeous photo opportunities, gourmet food, and exceptional entertainment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Couples finally get the weddings they\u2019ve dreamed of, without having to plan them<\/strong>
\nDuring the pandemic, many couples eloped or did quick courthouse ceremonies. Historic Hotel Bethlehem Wedding Planner Kathy Sanders said, \u201cThese couples missed out on many of their dream wedding elements like a first dance in a grand ballroom, or a gourmet meal with their closest friends and family. Now, they\u2019re telling us they\u2019re ready to celebrate their love stories and get those formal photos they missed out on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some couples skip formal weddings simply because there\u2019s too much work involved in planning. Sanders and her team have already taken care of the details so couples who attend this event only have to pick up a marriage license and, if they choose, make a guest list.<\/p>\n

Elopement extravaganza details<\/strong>
\nCherished Beginnings Elegant Elopements & Vow Renewals is scheduled for Saturday, January 27. Pianist Dan Miles will provide elegant music for the private ceremonies which Lehigh Valley Celebrant Katherine Hunter will officiate. Andy\u2019s and Pennewell\u2019s Flower Shop will create floral decor, bouquets, and boutonnieres.<\/p>\n

Couples can invite up to 20 guests and\u00a0 dance the night away at a reception with entertainment by the Philly Funk Five. They\u2019ll enjoy a three hour open bar, hors d\u2019oeuvres, a champagne toast, and a three course dinner. Each couple will cut a personal wedding cake from Amy\u2019s Creative Cakes. A photographer from Moon Honey Wedding Studio will capture all the magic of the special day.<\/p>\n
