The Carbon Chamber & Economic Development will be hosting our Annual Dinner on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. at Blue Mountain Resort, Palmerton, PA.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s themed event will be\u00a0Into the Wild\u00a0as we celebrate those businesses who continue to do great things in Carbon County! We will be giving a\u00a0Loud Roar\u00a0out to our deserving Carbon businesses, initiatives, and individuals.\u00a0The annual dinner is a time to honor those passionate, hardworking and driven professionals and business owners in Carbon County.<\/p>\n
The CCEDC is seeking nominations for the 2023 CCEDC Annual Awards Gala. Awards are presented to Rookie Business of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, Tourism Business of the Year, Volunteer (or Volunteer Project) of the Year, Economic Development Impact Project, Mike Harleman Arts and Entertainment Award, Williahm H. Bayer Lifetime Achievement Award and Business of the Year.<\/p>\n

One year or less in business.<\/p>\n Young Professional of the Year Award<\/strong><\/p>\n Highlights a Carbon County Young Professional highly involved in\u00a0CCEDC\u00a0events and community programs.\u00a0This person is making a difference in our community through engagement of their clients and community.<\/p>\n Tourism Business of the Year\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Honors a business that attracts guests and visitors to provide amusement, recreation, hospitality and\/or culture. These businesses include: restaurants, bed & breakfasts, wineries, driving ranges and eco-tourism.<\/p>\n Volunteer of the Year<\/strong><\/p>\n Outstanding individual dedicated to supporting\u00a0CCEDC\u00a0and other community organizations.<\/p>\n Economic Development Project\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Outstanding economic development project designed to bring jobs and economic growth to Carbon County.<\/p>\n Mike Harleman Arts and Entertainment Award<\/strong><\/p>\n Honors an artist, venue or entertainer that supports and gives back to Carbon County.<\/p>\n William H. Bayer Lifetime Achievement Award\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n This award is in honor of the late William H.
