SPECIAL SCREENING \u201cDUSTY CANS\u201d FOR DONORS WILL TAKE PLACE AT EMMAUS THEATRE<\/em><\/p>\n

EMMAUS, PA\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0 This Spring,\u00a0The Alternative Gallery<\/a>\u00a0of Allentown launched their crowdfunding campaign, \u201cSave the Film Prints!\u201d to preserve thousands of historic films, before the one-of-a-kind recordings were destroyed by the Summer heat. Now, a selection of these films, as well as other cultural and educational films from the gallery\u2019s pre-existing archive, are ready to be shown to the public for the first time in decades. The screening is aptly called \u201cDusty Cans\u201d, named after the thousands of dirty tin film cans the gallery\u2019s crew had to blow dust off of during the collection process. The event will take place at\u00a0The Emmaus Theatre,\u00a0on\u00a0Wednesday,\u00a0November 8th, at 7pm.<\/p>\n
