(October 16, 2023) \u2013\u00a0<\/span><span data-removefontsize=\"true\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">The\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unitybank.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.unitybank.com\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1697567382989000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2-y6QdLHVERQZY21-mJE-t\"><span data-removefontsize=\"true\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">Unity Bank<\/span><\/a><span data-removefontsize=\"true\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">\u00a0executive team and Board of Directors recently took to the fields at\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.americasgrowarow.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.americasgrowarow.org\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1697567382989000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1XH2fGy-AEb8dVz_MdC7ng\"><span data-removefontsize=\"true\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">America\u2019s Grow-a-Row<\/span><\/a><span data-removefontsize=\"true\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\"> (AGAR), helping to harvest 13,000 pounds of tomatoes and peppers, along with other volunteers, that will provide 52,000 servings of healthy produce to those struggling with food insecurity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span data-removefontsize=\"true\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">\u201c We are always impressed by Unity Bank\u2019s dedication to helping those fighting hunger, but this is the first time a company\u2019s Board of Directors has volunteered at the farm,\u201d said AGAR President and Founder Chip Paillex. \u201cUnity has been donating their time and resources to America\u2019s Grow-a-Row for seven years and they are clearly very committed to helping people battling food insecurity. Unity Bank truly exemplifies what it means to be a socially responsible organization.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span data-removefontsize=\"true\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">Unity annually donates $25,000 to AGAR as the lead sponsor of the Pittstown non-profit organization\u2019s Farm to Fork Volunteer program, supporting the activities of 10,000 volunteers. The 13,000 pounds of produce the bank and other volunteers recently harvested has been donated to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, which provides produce to hundreds of agencies statewide serving those in need.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span data-removefontsize=\"true\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">\u201cAmerica\u2019s Grow-a-Row is an incredible organization that provides valuable assistance to families battling hunger not only in New Jersey, but 20 states nationally,\u201d said David D. Dallas, Chairman of the Unity Board of Directors. \u201cAll of our Board members consider it a privilege to support AGAR with both our resources and our time.
