The NF Network is pleased to announce its 1st<\/sup> Annual Great Steps4NF Walk for Neurofibromatosis in Bethlehem, PA on Saturday, May 14, 2016<\/strong>. For more information or to register visit our website at http:\/\/www.nfnetwork.org\/nf-happenings\/great-steps\/pennsylvania-bethlehem<\/a>.<\/p>\n The \u201cGreat Steps4NF Walk,\u201d is sponsored by The NF (Neurofibromatosis) Network and will benefit the disorder by raising awareness and research funds. NF research is aimed at identifying a treatment and cure for this genetic, progressive nervous system disorder and the NF Network has been working to the end since 1988.<\/p>\n The Event will kick off at 9:00 am at Bethlehem Township Municipal Park at 2900 Farmersville Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020.<\/p>\n Registration is $25 adults, $12 children (ages 4-10), and $6 children (3 and under) or, Raise $100 and get FREE registration.\u00a0 There is a $5 early bird discount on Adult registration, PAEARLY, good until April 14, register by April 28 to guarantee a FREE event t-shirt.\u00a0 Walkers can choose either to walk as an individual or to join a team.<\/strong><\/p>\n Along with the Walk we\u2019ll have food, face painting, NF tattoos, NF Champion medals, team awards, a raffle\/silent auction and the opportunity to chat with others affected by NF.<\/p>\n The NF Network encourages and appreciates business contributions either in the form of event supplies, raffle items and\/or by becoming a Business Sponsor. NF is the most common neurological disorder caused by a single gene and is more common than Cystic Fibrosis, hereditary Muscular Dystrophy, Huntington\u2019s disease and Tay Sachs combined.
