Downtown holiday hut shopping tradition will last a week longer than usual this year<\/em><\/p>\n

Bethlehem, PA (November 8, 2023) – Last minute shoppers rejoice – Bethlehem\u2019s beloved holiday shopping huts will remain open for a full week leading up to Christmas Eve this year; adding December 18, 19, and 20th to the schedule. \u201cWhen it comes to Christmas in Bethlehem, more is always more,\u201d said Downtown Bethlehem Association Assistant Manager Ty Versocki. \u201cIn past years, the huts closed for the season a week prior to Christmas. Many shoppers told us they needed the extra week to finish their shopping. So, we\u2019re thrilled to announce that this year their Christmas wish will come true.\u201d<\/p>\n

The charming holiday huts are a beloved Bethlehem tradition. They are open to the public and you can visit at no cost. \u201cVisitors love strolling Main Street and seeing how we\u2019ve decked the downtown. Many tell us after they shop at the huts they enjoy checking out the local shops, grabbing lunch at a restaurant, and stopping by the historic Moravian museums. It\u2019s a full day of festivities.\u201d<\/p>\n

New huts added this year<\/strong>
\nShoppers will also enjoy browsing three new huts this year. They will be located in the Sun Inn Courtyard as part of a collaboration with the Sun Inn\u2019s \u201cWinter Garden.\u201d Versocki said, \u201cIt\u2019s going to be a truly holly jolly time with the Sun Inn Food Truck, warming tents, fire pits, music, and more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Holiday shopping hut locations and hours<\/strong><\/p>\n

The huts will open on November 9th. They\u2019ll be located in Bethlehem\u2019s historic district at The Smithy, next to Central Moravian Church, and in front of the Hotel Bethlehem Executive Conference Center. They will be open Thursdays through Saturdays from 11am to 8pm and on Sundays from 11am to 5pm. On Christmas week, they\u2019ll be open daily right through December 24.<\/p>\n
