Bethlehem, PA, November 27, 2023 \u2013\u00a0ArtsQuest<\/a>\u00a0is excited to announce the first Musikfest 2024 headliner, rapper and actor, Ludacris, who will be making his return (headlined in 2007) to the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza on\u00a0Saturday, Aug. 10<\/strong>. This Musikfest headliner is presented in partnership with Rich Mar Florist and LOUD Radio.<\/p>\n

Tickets access begins today, Nov. 27 for ArtsQuest Members and Friday, Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. for the general public at\u00a0Musikfest.org<\/a>. Ticket prices run from $25 to $79 ($199 for Steel Terrace which includes dinner, drinks and dessert at private tables). Ludacris is an American rapper and actor born in Champaign, Illinois. He began rapping at the age of nine in Atlanta, Georgia. Known for his boisterous lyrics, he made his mainstream breakthrough in 2000 with his second album,\u00a0Back for the First Time<\/em>. That major label debut ultimately reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Follow-up works included\u00a0Word of Mouf<\/em>\u00a0(2001), which went No. 3 on the Billboard Chart and\u00a0Chicken-N-Beer<\/em>\u00a0(2003) which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Chart. Ludacris\u2019 sixth album\u00a0Release Therapy<\/em>\u00a0(2006) also topped the chart and earned Ludacris a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. Additional albums include\u00a0Theater of the Mind<\/em>\u00a0(2008),\u00a0Battle of the Sexes<\/em>\u00a0(2010) and\u00a0Ludaversal\u00a0<\/em>(2015).<\/p>\n

In addition to creating his own music, Ludacris has made frequent appearances on other artists\u2019 records such as\u00a0Yeah!<\/em>\u00a0by Usher feat. Lil John & Ludacris and\u00a0Break Your Heart<\/em>\u00a0by Taio Cruz feat. Ludacris. He has also done collaborations with Missy Elliot, OutKast, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey and many more. Ludacris is also known as a regular in the\u00a0Fast and the Furious<\/em>\u00a0film franchise. He has acted in films such as\u00a0Dramas Crash<\/em>,\u00a0Hustle & Flow<\/em>,\u00a0New Year\u2019s Eve<\/em>,\u00a0Fred Clause<\/em>\u00a0and many other films.<\/p>\n

A record-breaking 1,330,000 people attended Musikfest in 2023. The 11-day festival featured over 500 free performances, across 16 stages located throughout the City of Bethlehem. The 41st<\/sup>\u00a0Musikfest is scheduled for Aug. 2 \u2013 11, 2024, with a special preview night on Aug. 1.
