Become a more trauma-informed practitioner and make a difference in the lives of trauma survivors.<\/em><\/p>\n

BETHLEHEM, PA<\/strong>\u00a0–\u00a0Northampton Community College (NCC) is offering a\u00a0new Trauma Informed Care certificate program<\/strong>\u00a0that will equip participants with the knowledge and skills to understand the effects of trauma on individuals and support survivors in a professional capacity. This program is ideal for educators, healthcare and human service providers, first responders, social workers, and daycare staff.<\/p>\n

The program consists of five self-paced virtual modules that cover a range of topics including Trauma and Its Impacts, The Behavioral Neuroscience of Trauma, The Psychology of Stress Management, Building Resilience in Trauma Survivors, and Supporting Mental Wellness with Trauma-Informed Care Systems.<\/p>\n

Interested individuals are invited to attend a\u00a0free virtual information session on January 8, from 6 p.m. \u2013 7 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0To learn more and enroll, please visit\u00a0northampton.edu\/healthcarecourses<\/strong><\/a>.
