Allentown\u2014 On March 23, 2024,<\/strong> Family<\/strong> Promise of Lehigh Valley <\/strong>will be holding its annual Homecoming Event<\/strong> to introduce the greater Lehigh Valley community to the work of Family Promise, to recognize its amazing volunteers and to build awareness and support for the many children and their families who are experiencing homelessness in our area. The Homecoming Event will be held at the beautiful Club at Twin Lakes <\/strong>located in\u00a0Allentown and will include a\u00a0gathering of our Family Promise community of friends, volunteers, and area businesses for a fabulous evening. The event will feature\u00a0dinner, entertainment, stories of hope and a high-end auction to support the mission of Family Promise. Making a positive impact<\/strong><\/p>\n Family Promise of Lehigh Valley<\/em> is an area 501 (c)3 organization which provides prevention services, temporary shelter, and case management to families with children who are experiencing or are on the verge of experiencing homelessness in the Lehigh Valley. Their goal is to minimize child homelessness in our communities to the greatest extent possible by assisting families in finding or retaining affordable housing and gaining financial stability.\u00a0\u201cWe believe that every child deserves a home\u201d stated Executive Director Roslyn Kuba. \u201cOur program is unique in that it utilizes a community-based response and a volunteer force of over 500 dedicated individuals, 34 area congregations and area businesses working together to meet the immediate, basic needs of displaced families and to assist them to build patterns that will bring long-term stability\u201d stated Chairman of the Board Laurence P.
