Neffs, Pa- <\/em>The Neffs National Bank,<\/strong> is proud to present $100,000 in donations to six local educational foundations. These donations will help fund essential educational programs to benefit the youth of our local community. The selected foundations include Northern Lehigh School District Education Foundation, Northwestern Lehigh Educational Foundation, Inc., Parkland School District Education Foundation, Wildlands Conservancy, Inc., Wildlife Information Center, Inc., and Circle of Seasons Foundation, Inc.<\/p>\n

Donations were made through The Neffs National Bank<\/strong>\u2019s participation in the state\u2019s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. This program authorizes tax credits for contributions to Educational Improvement Organizations and allows the bank to earmark their taxes to support these programs.<\/p>\n

Since the bank began their participation\u00a0in the EITC program, they have contributed\u00a0over $1,100,000 to various educational\u00a0foundations.\u00a0Kevin Schmidt, President\/CEO The Neffs National Bank noted \u201cthese organizations are continuing to face uncertain times with increased budget constraints and the
\nneed to reengineer their education programs. I would encourage local businesses to support these
\norganizations either directly or through participation in the EITC program.\u201d<\/p>\n
