OREFIELD, PA (April 17, 2024) –\u00a0\u201cIf you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If the words of the legendary (if fictional) Patches O\u2019Houlihan speak to your competitive spirit, maybe you and your friends have what it takes to participate in the inaugural\u00a0KidsPeace Dodgeball Challenge<\/strong>, presented by the KidsPeace Lehigh Valley Board of Associates!<\/p>\n

The event is scheduled for\u00a0Thursday, June 27, 2024 from noon to 5 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0on the soccer fields at KidsPeace\u2019s Orchard Hills Campus in Orefield, PA.\u00a0 Organizers are seeking 16 co-ed teams of would-be dodgeball titans to compete to be named Dodgeball Champion!<\/p>\n

Each team is guaranteed to play three matches of three games each.\u00a0 In addition to the overall Dodgeball Champion title, prizes will be awarded for Team Spirit, Best Dodger, and Best Catcher!<\/p>\n

Spectators will be welcome to attend to cheer on their favorite teams and see how well they embody the spirit of Patches\u2019s famed \u201cFive Ds of dodgeball \u2013 Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and Dodge!\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Food will be available for purchase from locally noted food trucks – such as Dinky\u2019s Ice Cream, The Flying V, PFG Pizza and La Frikitona \u2013 and entertainment will be provided by ROCKIN\u2019 RAMALEY.<\/p>\n

All proceeds benefit three new fundraising initiatives being established by the KidsPeace Lehigh Valley BOA:<\/p>\n
