ArtsQuest\u2019s Frank Banko Alehouse Cinema is excited to share that two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner, Zendaya\u2019s newest film\u00a0\u201cChallengers\u201d,<\/a>\u00a0directed by Luca Guadagnino, will be showing at our theater on its premiere date,\u00a0Friday, April 26, 2024<\/strong>. From visionary filmmaker Luca Guadagnino, “Challengers” stars Zendaya as Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy turned coach and a force of nature who makes no apologies for her game on and off the court. Married to a champion on a losing streak (Mike Faist \u2013 West Side Story), Tashi\u2019s strategy for her husband\u2019s redemption takes a surprising turn when he must face off against the washed-up Patrick (Josh O\u2019Connor \u2013 The Crown) \u2013 his former best friend and Tashi\u2019s former boyfriend. As their pasts and presents collide, and tensions run high, Tashi must ask herself, what will it cost to win.<\/p>\n
