Kempton, PA. \u2013 Jon Bond will celebrate his 50th<\/sup> year as a professional artist in conjunction with the 17th<\/sup> annual Hawk Mountain Arts Tour on Saturday, June 1, 9am-5pm.\u00a0 Bond plans to exhibit 100 works created with egg tempera, oil, watercolour, and ink. Many unique gift items based on Bond\u2019s art will be available for purchase. More than 15 other artists will also show their wares on this self-drive tour surrounding Hawk Mountain in northern Berks County.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince 2008 I\u2019ve been pleased to join my fellow artisans on the arts tour. Hawk Mountain sponsors this free event as the artists open their studios and homes. Guests can purchase paintings, pottery, glassware, woodcrafts, fiber arts, jewelry, and other unusual gifts. The Kempton area has traditionally been a magnet for creativity and many artists have established their studios here over the past 100 years\u201d said Bond.<\/p>\n
