St. Luke’s University Health Network has been recognized as one of the nation\u2019s Best Employers for New Grads, Forbes magazine announced today.<\/p>
\u201cAs the Lehigh Valley\u2019s only remaining locally controlled health care network and most preferred healthcare employer in the area, St. Luke\u2019s is fully invested in the future of our community, and that means we work diligently to attract, train, retain and promote employees throughout every part of our organization,\u201d Evan Ochs, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, said in reference to the designation. \u201cThis recognition is the latest confirmation that St. Luke\u2019s is a caring organization that believes our employees are our most important asset.\u201d<\/p>
The Best Employers for New Grads have been identified in an independent survey from a sample of over 100,000 young U.S. professionals with less than 10 years of work experience. Respondents included employees working for companies with at least 1,000 people. The final score was based on two types of evaluations:<\/p>
Over two million evaluations were considered.<\/p>
St. Luke\u2019s was the only local employer named to Forbes\u2019 list of Best Employers for New Grads.<\/p>
In August, St. Luke\u2019s was named the top-ranked Lehigh Valley-based employer in Forbes\u2019 ranking of employers in Pennsylvania and also was named by Forbes Magazine as one of America\u2019s Best Employers for Women. <\/p>
In a separate survey conducted in partnership with The Morning Call and other newspapers earlier this year, St. Luke\u2019s was named a Top Workplaces 2024 nationally, in Pennsylvania and in New Jersey. St. Luke\u2019s was the only healthcare institution in Pennsylvania and the third-highest ranked health care entity in the nation to be deemed a Top Workplace in 2024.<\/p>
