Natasha will visit area schools on <span data-term=\"goog_1326627264\">Tuesday, May 5<\/span>, as she tours for <strong>her new book, <em>Where\u2019ll You\u2019ll Find Me<\/em> (Macmillan March, 2016),<\/strong> which is receiving praise, including a starred review from the Library School Journal ( <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slj.com\/2015\/12\/reviews\/books\/where-youll-find-me-by-natasha-friend-slj-review\/\">http:\/\/www.slj.com\/2015\/12\/reviews\/books\/where-youll-find-me-by-natasha-friend-slj-review\/<\/a> ). Natasha Friend is the author of<em> PERFECT<\/em> (Milkweed Editions), <em>LUSH <\/em>(Scholastic, Inc.), <em>BOUNCE <\/em>(Scholastic, Inc.), <em>FOR KEEPS<\/em> (Viking Children\u2019s Books), and <em>MY LIFE IN BLACK AND WHITE<\/em> (Viking Children\u2019s Books). Her books have won numerous awards including the Milkweed Prize for Children\u2019s Literature, the Isinglass Award, and the Golden Sower Award.<\/p>\n<p>The Author-to-School program connects authors touring for their new book with schools, at no cost to the school. Let\u2019s Play Books! handles the coordination and the administration, providing schools the benefit of a complementary author visit.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s Play Books! is in it\u2019s 2<sup>nd<\/sup> full year and has taken more than 10 authors to over 20 schools in the Lehigh Valley, in four area school districts. Authors include the well-known Jeff Kinney, of <em>Diary of a Wimpy Kid<\/em> fame. In May, Let\u2019s Play Books will be hosting author Liesel Shurtliff for her new title, <em>RED: The True Story of Red Riding Hood, <\/em>at three area elementary schools.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Schools interested in participating in the Authors-To-Schools Program should attend one of the educator sessions held at Let\u2019s Play Books.
