(Aug. 4, 2024) \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>This summer, anything is possible&#8230; if you draw it! And that\u2019s what kids are doing during Purple Party Weekend at Crayola Experience Easton as they celebrate creativity and\u00a0Harold and The Purple Crayon.<\/p>\n<p>The colorful collaboration with Sony Pictures and Crayola Experience\u2014which continues today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.\u2014is inspiring imaginations across all ages, just like Harold does with his magical crayon in the film. With the upcoming film release, families have the perfect place to channel Harold and immerse themselves in creative, interactive play.<\/p>\n<p>A highlight of the day for kids was meeting the newest member of the Crayola Experience family\u2014purple mascot Roy. Roy will make special appearances again today at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Families also are putting their imagination into action with creative activities including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adding their own purple creation of\u00a0rockets, hot air balloons and airplanes\u00a0to our movie-themed wall mural.<\/li>\n<li>Engaging with themed coloring pages, thinking sheets, and crafts inspired by the movie.<\/li>\n<li>Personalizing their own purple crayon at the Wrap It Up attraction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, the first 75 children who visited the family attraction each day received a copy of the book donated by HarperCollins.<\/p>\n<p>All activities are included in the price of admission.<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>About Harold and the Purple Crayon<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Harold and the Purple Crayon o<\/em><em>pens in theaters Aug. 2. Inside of his book, adventurous Harold (Zachary Levi) can make anything\u00a0come to life simply by drawing it.
