As a development officer, Crystal Williams will assist the nonprofit with managing donor engagement activities.<\/em><\/p>\n

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (August 21, 2024)- <\/strong>New Bethany<\/a>, a local nonprofit that provides nutritious food access, housing, and social services, announced the hiring of Crystal Williams as a development officer in the nonprofit\u2019s development and planning department.<\/p>\n

\u201cCrystal\u2019s dedication to our Lehigh Valley community will make her a strong asset to the New Bethany team,\u201d said executive director J. Marc Rittle. \u201cShe aligns with our nonprofit\u2019s beliefs and is excited to build support for New Bethany\u2019s mission.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a development officer, Williams works closely with New Bethany\u2019s executive director to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies that foster relationships with donors and local organizations. She also manages databases and reports and actively participates in community events and fundraising efforts. Her other responsibilities include grant writing, working with a planning director to secure and maintain relationships with local community engagement officers, and coordinating with New Bethany\u2019s marketing and public relations team.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am deeply committed to the work the New Bethany team carries out daily, offering hope and assistance to people experiencing poverty, hunger, and homelessness,\u201d said Williams. \u201cI look forward to collaborations, building success, and creating an impact.\u201d<\/p>\n

Williams is passionate about communications, public relations and strategic business development. Her love for people, culture, food, music, and the arts has fueled her dedication to numerous volunteer opportunities. A graduate of Temple University, she has a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication and certificates in corporate social responsibility and social table. Williams is currently pursuing an MBA at Cedar Crest College with certificates in project management and human resources, with an anticipated graduation date in fall 2024.<\/p>\n
