The 2024 Annual Awards Gala"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Carbon County, PA \u2013\u00a0The Carbon County Chamber &amp; Economic Development Corporation, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is excited to announce an open nomination period running now through October 30, 2024, for their 2024 Annual Awards Gala.<\/p>\n<p>Nominations are available in the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business of the Year:\u00a0Recognizes a CCEDC member business that has demonstrated achievement and innovation in management, workplace excellence and has committed to growing here in Carbon County.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Rookie Business of the Year:\u00a0Recognizes a CCEDC member business that has demonstrated enthusiasm, community spirit and excellent customer service and has committed to growing here in Carbon County. One year or less in business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Tourism and Entertainment Business of the Year:\u00a0Honors a CCEDC member business that attracts guests and visitors to provide amusement, recreation, hospitality and\/or culture. These businesses include: restaurants, theaters, bed &amp; breakfasts, wineries, driving ranges and eco-tourism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Mike Harleman Arts and Entertainment Award:\u00a0Honors an artist, venue or entertainer that supports and gives back to Carbon County.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Volunteer of the Year:\u00a0Outstanding individual dedicated to supporting CCEDC and other community organizations through volunteer work and outreach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Young Professional of the Year Award:\u00a0Highlights a Carbon County Young Professional highly involved in CCEDC events and community programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Economic Development Project:\u00a0Outstanding economic development project by a CCEDC member, business or organization designed to bring jobs and economic growth to Carbon County.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>William H. Bayer Lifetime Achievement Award:\u00a0This award is in honor of the late William H.
