(Nov. 19, 2024)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Holiday decorations are coming out of boxes. Holiday music is hitting the airwaves. And three area kids got a jump start on celebrating the holiday spirit today with Crayola Experience Easton\u2019s \u201c64 Seconds of Color\u201d shopping spree.<\/p>\n<p>With a splash of red, green and all the other colors of the rainbow, 8-year-old Ada McGinnis (<strong>Bethlehem, Pa.<\/strong>), 10-year-old Jocelyn Henry (<strong>Allentown, Pa.<\/strong>), and 12-year-old Max Hoernlein (<strong>Phillipsburg, N.J.<\/strong>) experienced the\u00a0world\u2019s most colorful shopping spree for an early holiday treat. Their shopping extravaganza, with assistance from the U.S. Marines, is also helping to bring the magic of the holidays and Crayola to less fortunate children.<\/p>\n<p>The kids had\u00a074 seconds to dash through\u00a0the world&#8217;s largest selection of Crayola products at The Crayola Store and grab as much product as possible. In recognition of the 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary of this holiday tradition at Crayola Experience Easton, the usual 64-second spree\u2014a nod to Crayola\u2019s iconic box of 64\u2014was extend by 10 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Helping Jocelyn, Ada, and Max by\u00a0acting as their \u201cshopping carts\u201d were\u00a0SSgt Edward Aguirre, Sgt Charles Lusk, and Cpl Edwin Milanes. At the end of the 74-second dash, the children were able to keep all the product they collected with their Marine teammate. Crayola Experience\u2014the family attraction with more than 25 hands-on activities in downtown Easton,\u00a0Pa.\u2014then matched the collected toys and\u00a0donated them to\u00a0the Marines\u2019 Toys for Tots\u00a0chapter for Lehigh and Northampton counties.<\/p>\n<p>Spreading extra colorful holiday cheer, kid shopper Max decided he was going to donate his haul to students with disabilities in his school, Phillipsburg Middle School.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0\u201c64 Seconds of Color\u201d holiday event is an annual tradition for the brand.\u00a0Jocelyn, Ada, and Max\u00a0were randomly\u00a0selected\u00a0for the shopping spree after entering a raffle.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>About Crayola Experience Easton:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Discover the magic of color at Crayola\u2019s premier and one-of-a-kind family destination.\u00a0More than 25 creative activities and attractions throughout 65,000 square feet of color await families at the Crayola Experience flagship in Easton, Pa., the birthplace of Crayola crayons.
