The annual list celebrates individuals who contribute significantly to their industries and communities across central Pennsylvania through \u201cexceptional vision, dedication, and leadership.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0This marks Richards\u2019 first time receiving this distinguished honor.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m incredibly humbled to be included on this year&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Top 100 People<\/em>\u00a0list,&#8221; said Richards.\u00a0&#8220;My\u00a0\u00a0role focuses on building partnerships that expand access to financial education and resources for young people and underserved communities. This recognition underscores PSECU\u2019s and my shared dedication to providing our members and communities with the tools to achieve financial security and success.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In her current role, Richards oversees PSECU\u2019s educational centers on six college campuses, delivering financial literacy programs and fostering strategic relationships with businesses, universities, and community organizations. Under her leadership, PSECU has launched free financial literacy workshops that benefit hundreds of students and community members annually. She has also introduced mentorship programs that prepare young people for financial independence, significantly enhancing PSECU\u2019s reach and impact in underserved communities.<\/p>\n<p>Since joining PSECU in 2014, Richards has played an instrumental part in advancing the credit union\u2019s mission of &#8220;people helping people.&#8221; She has driven the establishment of three new education centers, collectively serving thousands of students annually, and collaborated with university faculty to create career development seminars that equip students to succeed financially during and after college.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The content provided in this publication is for informational purposes only.
