St. Luke\u2019s D&amp;L RaceFest is a four-race event that showcases the cities of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton with most of the race miles on the beautiful D&amp;L Trail that connects them.<\/p>\n<p>Registration link and full event information is available at race.delawareandlehigh.org.<\/p>\n<p>The four signature races that comprise RaceFest are the St. Luke\u2019s D&amp;L Marathon \u2013 \u201cThe Lehigh Valley\u2019s marathon\u201d, the St. Luke\u2019s D&amp;L Marathon Relay, the D&amp;L Heritage Half Marathon Run and the D&amp;L Heritage Half Marathon Walk, presented by St. Luke\u2019s. The 26.2-mile marathon course \u2013 a Boston qualifier &#8212; travels from downtown Allentown to Easton and the 13.1-mile half marathon course starts in Historic Bethlehem and ends at the same finish line in Easton next to Scott Park. Both courses are USA Track and Field-certified.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSt. Luke&#8217;s is proud to once again be the main sponsor of this year&#8217;s D&amp;L St. Luke&#8217;s Racefest,\u201d says Ken Szydlow, Vice President &amp; Chief Marketing Officer of St. Luke&#8217;s University Health Network. \u201cJoin us and be part of this wonderful racing tradition as we celebrate community, health, and the outdoors along the scenic and historic D&amp;L Trail.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, participants traveled from 25 different states and five countries to either run or walk in St. Luke\u2019s D&amp;L RaceFest. More than 1,900 racers registered for the events and over 8,000 people took part by racing, spectating or volunteering along the course.<\/p>\n<p>RaceFest is a major fundraiser for Delaware &amp; Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, a nationally designated heritage area that works to preserve, interpret and celebrate the heritage of a five-county region. Proceeds from the event go toward heritage education programs and the ongoing development and stewardship of the D&amp;L Trail and its connection through the Lehigh Valley. Once fully connected, the D&amp;L Trail will be the longest multi-use trail in Pennsylvania, stretching over 165 miles from Wilkes-Barre to Bristol. Over the past decade, the D&amp;L Trail has acted as a significant conduit for economic growth and development to the towns and communities that surround it.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>DLNHC thanks its title sponsor, St. Luke\u2019s University Health Network.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Delaware &amp; Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that preserves the historic pathway that carried coal and iron from Wilkes-Barre to Bristol.
