Usually, you I can find a discount for a few bucks. The last 2 weeks I found sweet &amp; traditional sausage links (6\/$3.00), great deal! I\u2019ve made this dish twice and used different ingredients each time and it came out very tasty. Combining ingredients I had on hand, I was able to make 5 lunches, which cost $2\/pint of food. This dish id similar to Jambalaya &amp; Risotto. Veggie Rice Skillet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Olive oil<\/p>\n<p>5 \u2013 6 Sausage Links (choice)<\/p>\n<p>3 &#8211; 4 cloves garlic, chopped\/crushed<\/p>\n<p>Handful of greens, chopped (I used bitter greens that were starting to turn)<\/p>\n<p>Extra Veggie on hand (I added \u00bd zucchini I had &amp; some mushrooms this time)<\/p>\n<p>1 15oz can tomato soup (any variety works), plus 1+ can of water<\/p>\n<p>1 C. white rice<\/p>\n<p>Garnish: Chopped parsley &amp; parmesan cheese<\/p>\n<p>Saut\u00e9 the sausage in olive oil until it is no longer pink. Add garlic, cook until fragrant. Add greens, mushrooms or other veggie of choice and cook down for a few minutes covered. Add tomato soup, water and stir to incorporate. Add rice, lower heat to simmer, stirring every 10 minutes. Mixture will thicken up.
