Bethlehem, PA \u2013 February 28th, 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0Celtic Cultural Alliance (CCA) names Northampton County Executive Lamont G. McClure as the Grand Marshal of the 2025 Parade of Shamrocks.<\/p>\n

The parade will be presented live in the streets of\u00a0Historic Downtown Bethlehem on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 1:00pm by the Celtic Cultural Alliance in partnership with The City of Bethlehem.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Executive McClure, a lifelong Pennsylvania resident, has spent much of his adult life making a difference in his community.\u00a0 He is proud of his Irish heritage and has been a strong supporter of the CCA.\u00a0 He says this regarding his marshalling duties: \u201cI am truly honored to have been chosen as the Grand Marshal of the Parade of Shamrocks.\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait to celebrate with all of you.\u201d<\/p>\n

CCA is appreciative of the support they have received for the parade from Presenting Sponsor, Historic Hotel Bethlehem.\u00a0 Strong community support is a big part of the Parade of Shamrock\u2019s success.\u00a0 This year Select Sales, Donegal Square and The Chemo Bag are sponsors of the event as well.<\/p>\n

About the Celtic Cultural Alliance<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Columbus Day weekend in 1988, the first Celtic Classic was presented by a small group of individuals. The goal of this dedicated group was to create an event that symbolized the Celtic spirit and history and to provide the impetus for an organization that focused on promoting the Celtic culture. This group evolved into Celtic Cultural Alliance, a non-profit organization, to better communicate the overall goals of the organization.<\/p>\n

The CCA has expanded with year-round programming to support the mission of promoting and preserving Celtic Culture through arts, music, literature, dance, and history programs. In keeping with the spirit of \u201cNext Generation\u201d, the CCA also offers scholarships to promising young students of the Celtic Arts. These yearly scholarships are offered to students of the arts, including Irish Step Dance, Highland Dance, Fiddle, and Bagpipes.<\/p>\n

The Celtic Classic has blossomed into the largest Celtic festivals in North America. Annually, over 200,000 visitors come to Historic Bethlehem to join in this celebration of all things Celtic.<\/p>\n
