Board of Supervisors Chairman<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Bill McGee, Former Building Trades Chair<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Frank Pintabone, Easton County Councilman<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Glenn Reibman, Former Northampton County Executive<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The endorsements come from across the district as McClure, who announced his campaign at the end of February, is building momentum to flip the seat, a top target for Democrats in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDemocrats have to perform better in Carbon County to win back this seat,\u201d said Carbon County Commissioner Rocky Ahner. \u201cLamont was raised right here in Weatherly. He understands the challenges facing our community and he\u2019s the best voice to represent us in Washington. Performing better in Carbon will make the difference in this race.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lamont McClure began his career fighting for workers poisoned by asbestos. As County Executive, he worked to support 1,600 small businesses through the pandemic and cut property taxes by almost 10 percent.
