{"id":141036,"date":"2025-03-18T23:17:44","date_gmt":"2025-03-19T03:17:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=141036"},"modified":"2025-03-18T23:17:44","modified_gmt":"2025-03-19T03:17:44","slug":"vivan-shah-md-joins-good-shepherd-rehabilitation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=141036","title":{"rendered":"Vivan Shah, MD, Joins Good Shepherd Rehabilitation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ALLENTOWN, Pa.\u00a0<\/strong>\u2014 Good Shepherd Rehabilitation recently welcomed Vivan Shah, MD, as a new outpatient physician to the network.<\/p>\n<p>An outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&amp;R) physician,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodshepherdrehab.org\/why-choose-us\/doctors\/vivan-shah-md\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Shah<\/a>\u00a0has a special interest in acute pain, musculoskeletal\/sports medicine, diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound, and regenerative medicine.<\/p>\n<p>in joining Good Shepherd Physician Group, Dr. Shah sees patients at Good Shepherd\u2019s South Allentown Campus, 850 S. 5th St., Allentown.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI chose Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation because it offers a truly rewarding experience,\u201d Dr. Shah said. \u201cIt\u2019s incredibly fulfilling to witness a patient\u2019s recovery firsthand, often in real time. I focus on treating acute pain and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as offering interventional spine care. I also enjoy treating arthritis and helping with knee, shoulder, hip problems, and foot\/ankle problems, all of which allow me to make a meaningful impact on my patients\u2019 quality of life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr.\u00a0Shah\u00a0joined Good Shepherd after serving as a locum attending physician at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodshepherdrehab.org\/location\/good-shepherd-rehabilitation-hospital\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital<\/a>.
