{"id":141295,"date":"2025-04-01T21:07:18","date_gmt":"2025-04-02T01:07:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=141295"},"modified":"2025-04-01T21:07:18","modified_gmt":"2025-04-02T01:07:18","slug":"hundreds-of-crayon-lovers-celebrate-color-and-creativity-during-national-crayon-day-event-at-crayola-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=141295","title":{"rendered":"Hundreds of Crayon Lovers Celebrate Color and Creativity during National Crayon Day Event at Crayola Experience"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><em>Image courtesy of<\/em> <i>Crayola Experience Easton<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>EASTON, Pa.<\/strong>\u00a0(March 31, 2025)\u00a0\u2013 The National Crayon Day festivities today at Crayola Experience Easton were a celebration of color and creativity heralded in by special crayon character guest \u201cDan D\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDan D\u201d, the crayon persona of the retired color Dandelion, helped to kick off the family attraction\u2019s 5<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Annual Million Crayon Giveaway, surprising and delighting\u00a0the first wave of crayon lovers as they created their personal, one-of-a-kind crayon box.<\/p>\n<p>The National Crayon Day event and crayon giveaway is extra special this year with the\u00a0inclusion of eight nostalgic, fan-favorite retired crayon colors\u2014and their character personas\u2014that have returned for a limited time to\u00a0help color the world once again.<\/p>\n<p>In a crayon lover\u2019s dream come true, Crayola crayon fans filled their FREE 32-count crayon box with only the crayon colors they wanted\u00a0from a 40-foot \u201cPick Your Pack\u201d wall. To make the custom boxes even more exclusive, this year\u2019s lineup of more than 70 different crayon colors that kids can add to their custom box includes\u00a0Dandelion (retired in 2017); Blizzard Blue, Magic Mint\u00a0and Mulberry (retired in 2003); and\u00a0Orange Red, Violet Blue, Lemon Yellow\u00a0and Raw Umber (retired in 1990), while supplies last.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Crayola Experience Million Crayon Giveaway begins\u00a0today and runs through May 23 at the five Crayola Experience locations across the country\u2014including the one in downtown Easton, Pa. The giveaway\u00a0is free, but\u00a0<strong>registration is required<\/strong>.\u00a0Crayola fans are encouraged to sign up early as reservations are expected to fill quickly. To reserve a custom crayon box, visit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.crayolaexperience.com\/Easton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.CrayolaExperience.com\/Easton<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s National Crayon Day celebration also launched the Retired Crayon Character Tour at the Pennsylvania, Florida, Arizona and Texas Crayola Experience locations.\u00a0After years of colorful travels across the globe,\u00a0Dan D (aka Dandelion), Magic (aka Magic Mint), Blizz (aka Blizzard Blue), Mully (aka Mulberry), Angie (aka Red Orange), Violetta (aka Violet Blue), Lemmy (aka Lemon Yellow), and Bri (aka Raw Umber) are returning to share their adventures in an immersive experience including limited-time activities, photo-ops, and collectable merchandise.\u00a0Kids will be able to meet some of these characters as they\u00a0take turns visiting the attractions.
