{"id":141766,"date":"2025-04-17T22:15:09","date_gmt":"2025-04-18T02:15:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=141766"},"modified":"2025-04-17T22:15:09","modified_gmt":"2025-04-18T02:15:09","slug":"northampton-county-ballot-on-demand-voting-for-the-2025-municipal-primary-election-information-locations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=141766","title":{"rendered":"Northampton County &#8211; Ballot-On-Demand Voting for the 2025 Municipal Primary Election Information &#038; Locations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ballot-On-Demand Voting for the 2025 Municipal Primary Election<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>[Northampton County, PA]<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; The Northampton County Elections Office announces that Ballot-on-Demand voting for the Tuesday, May 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Municipal Primary Election will be available starting Monday, April 21, 2025, at the Northampton County Elections Office (Government Center, 669 Washington Street, Lower Level, Easton, PA 18042).<\/p>\n<p>Registered Democratic and Republican Party voters in Northampton County can vote in person on the following dates:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Monday, April 21st \u2013 Friday, April 25th (8:30 am \u2013 6:00 pm)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Saturday, April 26th (9:00 am \u2013 12:00 pm)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Monday, April 28th \u2013 Friday, May 2nd (8:30 am &#8211; 6:00 pm)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Saturday, May 3rd (9:00 am \u2013 12:00 pm)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Monday, May 5th \u2013 Friday, May 9th (8:30 am \u2013 6:00 pm)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Saturday, May 10th (9:00 am \u2013 12:00 pm)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Monday, May 12th (8:30 \u2013 6:00 pm)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The LAST day for Ballot-on-Demand will be Tuesday, May 13th (8:30 am &#8211; 5:00 pm)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During this time, Northampton County residents who are eligible to vote can come to the Elections Office, register if they still need to, fill out a ballot application, which will be processed immediately, and be handed a ballot over the counter. Voters may fill out the ballot in the office and return it the same day, OR they may take it home and mail it back via USPS (postage prepaid) or utilize one of the seven secure Ballot Drop Boxes throughout the County.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You must bring a valid ID with you to the Elections Office to receive a ballot. The County\u2019s seven secure ballot drop-off boxes will be installed April 21, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Registered voters who have already applied for a mail-in ballot ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for Ballot-on-Demand and must wait to receive their ballot in the mail.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To ensure that your mail-in ballot is accepted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Your ballot\u00a0<strong>MUST BE<\/strong>\u00a0enclosed in the\u00a0<strong>YELLOW<\/strong>\u00a0secrecy envelope and sealed;<\/li>\n<li>Do<strong>\u00a0NOT<\/strong>\u00a0write anywhere on the\u00a0<strong>YELLOW<\/strong>\u00a0envelope.
