{"id":141787,"date":"2025-04-17T23:54:07","date_gmt":"2025-04-18T03:54:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=141787"},"modified":"2025-04-17T23:54:07","modified_gmt":"2025-04-18T03:54:07","slug":"allentown-launches-bike-plan-survey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=141787","title":{"rendered":"Allentown Launches Bike Plan Survey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>April 17, 2025 \u2013 The City of Allentown is seeking public input through its new Citywide Bike Plan Survey, an important first step in creating a safer, more connected bicycle network across the City.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its ongoing efforts to improve transportation infrastructure and promote active lifestyles, the City is developing a comprehensive bike plan that will increase safety and usability of Allentown\u2019s bike lanes, trails, and related facilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBicycling is one of the joys of life and we want to hear from Allentown about how it can be better here,\u201d said Mayor Matt Tuerk. \u201cWith your input, we can make riding in Allentown safer and more accessible to all. Tell us about where we should invest and how we can improve our transportation system for cyclists and all street users.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The brief survey invites stakeholders to share their experiences and ideas around biking in Allentown.
