Valley Preferred Cycling Center Honors Mike Budjnoski with Naming of Youth Program<\/strong><\/p>\n

TREXLERTOWN, PA \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0May 6, 2025 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>The Valley Preferred Cycling Center is proud to announce that the Bicycle Racing League (BRL), its flagship youth development program, will now carry the name of Michael “Mike” Budjnoski\u2014a beloved member of the cycling community who passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2023.<\/p>\n

Thanks to a heartfelt contribution from his wife, Martina Budjnoski, this meaningful tribute ensures Mike\u2019s legacy will continue to inspire the next generation of cyclists for years to come.<\/p>\n

A lifelong athlete, Mike was passionate about competition, camaraderie, and helping others discover the joy of riding. The newly named\u00a0Mike Budjnoski Bicycle Racing League<\/strong>\u00a0reflects those values, providing young riders with an encouraging introduction to the sport in a safe and structured environment.<\/p>\n

\u201cMike truly embodied the spirit of cycling\u2014dedicated, competitive, and always supportive,\u201d said Jorge Romero, Managing Director of the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. \u201cThrough Martina\u2019s thoughtful commitment, his impact will live on in every BRL rider who finds confidence, passion, and joy in the sport.\u201d<\/p>\n

Born in Harveys Lake, PA, Mike was a Pennsylvania State Champion and U.S. Federation Masters 55+ Road Race winner. Outside of racing, he was an accomplished skier, entrepreneur, and the founder of Rayco Eurospec Motorcars. He was known for his precision, integrity, and pursuit of excellence in everything he did.<\/p>\n

\u201cCycling was one of Mike\u2019s greatest passions,\u201d Martina shared. \u201cHe believed deeply in the lessons it teaches\u2014discipline, character, and lifelong friendship. Supporting BRL is a way to keep that passion alive and pass it on to the next generation.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Valley Preferred Cycling Center extends its heartfelt thanks to Martina for her generosity and vision. The Mike Budjnoski Bicycle Racing League will stand as a lasting tribute to a man who gave so much to the sport\u2014and to the people around him.<\/p>\n
