{"id":142226,"date":"2025-05-06T23:17:38","date_gmt":"2025-05-07T03:17:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=142226"},"modified":"2025-05-06T23:17:38","modified_gmt":"2025-05-07T03:17:38","slug":"deadline-for-voting-by-ballot-on-demand-or-applying-for-a-mail-in-ballot-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=142226","title":{"rendered":"Deadline for Voting by Ballot-On-Demand or Applying for a Mail-in Ballot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Deadline for Voting by Ballot-On-Demand or Applying for a Mail-in Ballot<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>[Northampton County, PA] \u2014<\/strong>\u00a0The deadline for voting by Ballot-on-Demand for the\u00a0May 20th Municipal Primary Election\u00a0is Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p>Ballot-on-Demand voting is currently available for\u00a0Northampton County residents\u00a0in the County\u2019s Elections Office, located on the Lower Level of the Courthouse at 669 Washington Street, Easton, PA 18042, on the remaining dates below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday, May 5th \u2013 Friday, May 9th (8:30 am \u2013 6:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>Saturday, May 10th (9:00 am \u2013 1:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>Monday, May 12th (8:30 \u2013 6:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>The LAST day for Ballot-on-Demand will be Tuesday, May 13th (8:30 am &#8211; 5:00 pm)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During this time, Northampton County residents who are eligible to vote can come to the Elections Office, fill out a ballot application, which will be processed immediately, and will be handed a ballot over the counter. Voters may fill out the ballot in the office and return it the same day<strong>\u00a0OR<\/strong>\u00a0they may take it home and mail it back via USPS or utilize one of the secure drop-off boxes throughout County.<\/p>\n<p>Showing ID is required before you can receive your ballot. Registered voters who have already applied for a mail-in ballot are not eligible for Ballot-on-Demand and must wait to receive their ballot in the mail.<\/p>\n<p>All ballots must be\u00a0returned to the Election\u2019s Office\u00a0<strong>NO LATER THAN<\/strong>\u00a08:00 pm on Election night, Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
