Josh Siegel today released the following statement regarding the modest increase in state and local tax revenue in 2024:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The NIZ continues to be a powerful engine for Allentown\u2019s growth, driving record levels of investment and generating $103.5 million in tax revenue last year, roughly 6% over the prior year. This success is undeniable and a clear sign of the strength and potential of our downtown economy. Public-private partnerships are reshaping the heart of our city, and major projects such as the Archer Music Hall, Roxy and DaVinci Science Center completions will continue creating jobs and driving transformative investment.
